Young Racer Required

The Supermotoland Husqvarna Motorcycles Race team has a team ride available for a young rider to compete in the 5 round spanish supermoto championship in the Sm Road (Asphalt only) championship. The SM road class is a stepping stone for riders wanting to prove themselves before potentially moving onto a road race career in the Spanish CEV series and then onto Moto3, moto2 and motogp world championship racing. This exact path has been taken by current motogp racer, Iker Lecuona ( Fan Club Iker Lecuona ) who won the smroad championship in 2015 at the age of 15.

16 year old Valencian moto3 Podium finisher Xavi Artigas has also come from the spanish supermoto championship and finished P3 in his first GP earlier this month.

The Smroad class is a cost effective way to develop young riders and then get them noticed for a road racing career.

Supermotland is looking for a young rider (15 to 23 years old) to run in the SM road class. Anyone interested should email Mat Ford-Dunn at race@supermotoland.com .

Racing experience and a will to win is required but the racing background can be from any form of motorcycle racing (MX, road racing, mini bikes etc…)
Some financial input will be required although the team ride is heavily subsidized and therefore very affordable.

The Supermotoland Husqvarna race team is the official Husqvarna team in the Spanish supermoto championship..
