British Racer Nick Cronin joins the Supermotoland Husqvarna race team for his 2nd season in the SM road Master class of the Spanish Supermoto championship.

Nick only managed one round of the championship in 2022 due to a training crash that injured his knee. The injury and subsequent surgery to reconstruct his ACL meant that Nick has had very little time to train for the 2023 season and he is still trying to build up the strength in his leg muscles.

It will be a case of finding his feet in 2023 and working on the progress that he made in 2022. The SM road Master class is for racers over 30 years old and is a great series to race in. The pace is still extremely fast and Nick knows that he has a tough learning year ahead of him.

Nick is new to supermoto racing, but he has raced just about every other form of motorcycle sport, from road racing, motocross, beach racing, Hill climbs, flat track etc. So we are pretty confident he will pick up the supermoto skills quite quickly. Once he has fully recovered from his injuries he will be aiming to become a regular points scorer against the ultra fast Spanish racers on their home tracks.
