A great end to the year for the Supermotoland Husqvarna race team

A great end to the season for the supermotoland.com Husqvarna Motorcycles race team at the last round of the Spanish supermoto championship.

Australian racer Dominic Fletcher had two very strong races to come away with 2nd position overall in the ultra competitive SM Junior championship. This is his best race result to date in only his 2nd year in the teams junior talent program. He also managed to finish 6th overall in the SM pro class against some of the best supermoto racers in the world at the moment.

Harley Thomas from Australia showed us how far he has come in his first year as a rookie in the supermotoland Husqvarna Junior talent team. He finished 4th overall in the SM junior class and he could so easily have been standing on the 3rd step of the podium alongside his team mate, if had not been for a crash with another rider in his first race which caused him to drop a number of places. He also finished 9th overall in the SM pro class. A brilliant effort for the 17 year old aussie.

British racer Loris Ford-Dunn has a tough weekend by his standards and was not on his usual form. But he still managed to finish 8th and 5th in his two SM road races. It was a shame to not be fighting for the win as he was in with a shot of the title, but he was just not quick enough on the day to take the fight to the front.

With the final round of the spanish championship now completed. all racers return home and we start preparing to put together next years team with some serious amounts of winter training at the supermotoland race school.
